In loving memory of Len Harvey
Someone so special...
Will never be forgotten..

Arriving in Africa three years ago and meeting and speaking with Len... Was such a perfect human experience. To meet another human being that has such a great passion for helping people and being extremely courteous is what we should all strive to be like. In his human life time, Len accomplished compassion, helping fellow humans and doing it with kindness. Len... You got a free ticket to Heaven.

Peace, love and happiness to all those cherishing your life on earth.

A Fond Farewell Len, from all your friends at Food4Africa in the UK

The world is an emptier place without you in it.

You were an inspiring, dedicated, selfless, passionate man who worked tirelessly to make sure that children are fed every day.

You had many friends here in the UK, even though you never got to meet them.

I spoke so much about you that they felt they knew you – remember those mad car journeys handing out food from the boot!  And of course we have so many wonderful photos of your smiling face.

You set an example for us. And made us believe that we could make a difference.

Your legacy is immense. Please know that Food4Africa UK will continue to work with Cindy and the team to help make sure your life’s work lives on.

On a personal note, Len, you were, quite simply, my hero. You changed my life. And I am deeply privileged to have known you.

Big hugs, Len, as always

I miss you.

We are blessed to know Lenn Harvey
We are privileged to have shared in his life.

Here is where the road divides
Here is where we realise
The sculpting of another design.

Painted on a tapestry, we see the way it has to be
Weaving through so much laughter and tears
But love will be the tie that binds us
To the time we leave behind us
Memories will be our souvenir.

RIP Lenn Harvey, a joy who has passed on
But beautiful remnants remain.

A message from Tania in JHB

Uncle Lenny, You were A shining example of what a real man, a real father should be. Never afraid to show your true feelings of love, never afraid to show tenderness or kindness and always compassionate…..You were never shy to shed a tear and were un-afraid to Love openly.

For You the pain that was the greatest was never Your own,  but rather the pain that you saw in others. You were an Angel on Earth, loving, giving and touching the lives of many. Our thoughts and prayers go to Cindy, the Boys and the rest of Our family in Port Elizabeth at this sad time. With all our Love, Tim, Tania and Lisa-Marie

Dear Cindy, Byron, Justin and Elliot

We are so deeply shocked and sorry to hear of your loss. It was a privilege to know Len, the legacy he has left behind in the difference he has made to so many peoples lives will live on for many years to come.  We are truly thinking of you during this most difficult time and lifting you up in our prayers.

Thank you for allowing us and our staff to be touched by Miracle Meals, we are so glad that you will continue to operate the project which means so much to so many people who don’t have much in life.  We will be honored to still be apart of the difference you are making in these very special peoples lives.

 God Bless,

Mike, Susan and Shaun and the rest of our Sovereign Foods Family
